From the Guidance Office

Thanks to the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit #23, our sophomores were given a career and job interest inventory called Ideas financed by them. John McGranaghan and Jeanne Holt-Brabson administered the test. Each student created a personal Ideas Profile showing career and job interest in 16 different areas. They plotted their scores on a graph and compared them with others their age. The interest areas are: mechanical fixing, protective service, nature/outdoors, mathematics, science, medical, creative arts, writing, community service, educating, child care, public speaking, business, sales, office practices, and food service. Students were given a workbook that will be very helpful to them now and in the future.
