Chess Team 2006-2007

The Chess Club is open to all students.  Lessons are available for beginners.  Initial membership is $7.00 with a renewal fee of $5.00.  Membership in the United States Chess Federation puts the Chess Club in contact with other organizations in the U.S. Each year the Chess Club sponsors a Championship tournament open to members and non-members. Club rankings determine position on the Chess Team which competes in the Catholic League.  League competitions take place from January to April.  The Chess Club meets Mondays after school from 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM.
