Liturgy Committee 2006-2007

The Liturgy Committee is made up of students from McDevitt who want to help with the liturgical celebrations. The Committee sets up the gym and prepares the Altar for the Celebration of the Most Holy Eucharist. Students proclaim the First and Second readings, read the intentions that are said for that mass, or lead the songs selected for that day.  Father Santorsola is the moderator of the Liturgy Committee.  The students sing and read during the mass in an effort to lead McDevitt’s students and faculty in the most perfect way to give honor and thanks to Jesus Christ. They meet about once a month and prepare the readings for the day of the mass and the program for the liturgy.
