and as you work on this application keep hitting the save button so you can come back to the application. Don’t hit exit or you will lose all the data and have to start over. The help button will assist you with any questions or call 1-800-4-FED-AID
Get a pin # to sign your FAFSA electronically. Parents and students apply for a pin at www.pin.ed.gov
With the pin # you can electronically sign your FAFSA or print the signature page and sign and mail it in. Parents should have their own pin #
When all is finished click the “submit” button on the last page of the FAFSA you will be sent to another page and receive a confirmation number
· View information about Federal loans and grants you’ve received
· Sign your FAFSA on the web
· Print a copy of your (SAR)Student Aid Report the SAR
· Review and correct answers electronically on
· Reapply for student aid every year you are in school
You need the following to fill out the FAFSA:
· Driver’s license number if you have one
· Social Security number
· Federal Income Tax Return would be last year’s filing
· Records of stocks, bonds, and other investment documents
· Records of any other untaxed income (welfare or veterans benefits etc.)
· Business or farm records
· Alien registration if you are not a U.S. citizen
· If you are a dependent student you need your parents Social Security numbers

The EMCCC Neiman Memorial Scholarship
The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is proud to invite your high school and guidance department to participate in our annual call for applications to qualify to win one of three one thousand dollar scholarships in 2012. Each school is asked to distribute appications and select their top 2 candidates for submission. Application materials will be available in late February.

American Heritage Federal Credit Union Scholarship
American Heritage Federal Credit Union will grant ten $1000 community scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will be attending a post-secondary institution. Shell Oil Technical Scholarship
$2500 -20 Awards
To be considered eligible for the Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship you mus be a High School Student who plans to enroll full-time in one of the following: Geology, Geophysics, Physics, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Geological, Goephysical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program
First Trust will be granting $70,000 in academic scholarships to college-bound high school seniors, ranging in amounints from $1,000 to $10,000.
The SAG Scholarship Program was created in devoted memory the founder of First Trust, Samuel A. Green, who believed in the power of higher education and the right of all young people to pursue it. Hearing Loss Association of America
The Generation X or Delaware Valley Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) is pleased to announce the 2013 Scholarship for high school seniors.
Two $500.00 scholarships to be awarded to two high school seniors with a hearing loss pursuing a college degree or vocational training. For more information visit www.hearingloss.org
The third annual Dunkin Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program is open for online applications. Black Women’s Educational Alliance
Black Women’s Educational Alliance (BWEA) of Montgomery County Pennsylvania is offering academic scholarships up to $500.00. Students applying for scholarship consideration must be a current Montgomery County resident in the 12th grade. Priority is given to students of African and/or African-American descent. Whitemarsh Township Resident Scholarship
For a senior girl/boy who has volunteered at least 100 hours during the 4 years of high school. Award is $500. You must be a Whitemarsh Township resident with at least a 2.0 GPA. See Mrs. Dominello for details.

Daemen College Trustee Scholar’s Day
February 2, 2013: Every student who applies for admission to Daemen College is considered for a merit scholarship — but only those nominated are invited to apply for the Trustee Scholarships. Trustee Scholarships are renewable every year; two full scholarships, four $15,000, and $11,000-12,000 scholarships.
