Faith In Philadelphia ~ Catholic Schools Week

Opening Day
Monday ~ January 28, 2008

Catholic Schools' week will open with a Votive Mass of the Holy Spirit.  Revered Stephen D. Thorne, Pastor of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish, Philadelphia and the Archdiocesan Director of the Office for Black Catholics will be the celebrant.  During the liturgy, the school community will express their commitment to Catholic Education.

Wednesday ~ January 30, 2008

There will be a Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul at 10 AM for those Athletes who are Senior students throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  The Most Reverend Joseph P. McFadden, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, will be the celebrant of the Liturgy.  Students are scheduled to leave school at 8:30 A.M.
