The Ryan McGinty Memorial Foundation presented the school with a check for $140,000 for the purpose of replacing the gym floor with a hardwood floor; refurbishing the existing gym seating; replacing the backboards; as well as providing a full need-based scholarship. With the assistance of a $100,000 Connelly Foundation grant and contributions from alumni, parents and friends of McDevitt, the Science 2000 Campaign is concluding with the renovation of our chemistry/physical science laboratory. All science facilities have been upgraded within the last 3 years as a result of the generosity of our benefactors.
