Course Goals:

To study and analyze the foundations of and the
establishment of the American Political System.
Emphasis will be given to the U.S. Constitution,
Bill of Rights, The Supreme Court, Political
Parties, Voting Behavior, Foreign Policy and various
State and Local Government organizations.

Student Requirements:
Evaluation Procedure:

All grades will be compiled based upon the student’s
ability to fulfill all requirements.
Each quarter will contain at least 3 major quizzes
and tests.
A “participation quotient” will also be assessed
i.e.being prepared for class and the quality of
assignments submitted--both projects and homework
assignments.
Your student’s learning experience should be
a cooperative effort on the part of you the parents,
and “Mr. History.” All assistance is encouraged.
Every student is required to bring a sense of humor
to class.
