Bishop McDevitt has an extensive Activities Program that includes over 30 different clubs and events.  All clubs are student-run and based on interest.  Clubs meet throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to join multiple activities where they can socially interact while learning leadership skills. All activities are moderated by adult sponsors who support the students’ vision for the club.
Social activities are conducted throughout the year and are open to all students. There are general dances, formal dances, and a prom each year.  Student Council sponsors many after school and evening activities to get students and parents involved including “Dancing with the Teachers” and movie nights.
Bishop McDevitt High School runs competitive sports programs for both male and female student-athletes.  As a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA), Bishop McDevitt competes in district and state playoffs.  11 Female sports and 8 male sports are offered.  All students are encouraged to participate in our sports program.
