Bill graduated from Bishop McDevitt in 1974 and went on to play professional baseball for the Hiroshima Tigers in Japan from 1980-1985. He played for Mexican Professional Baseball and also was the catcher for Atlanta Braves pitcher Ken Powers from 1986-1988. Bill returned to the states and was under the tutelage of softball great Cookie Rojas from 1990-1993. While on a Mormon Mission to Rome, Italy Bill coached the Vatican Softball team from 1996-1998. In 2009 he returned to McDevitt to coach Girls softball which has led to 20 All-Catholic Selections and 2 PCL AA Championships.Bill is married with 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
